Greetings !!

On the day before CNY, Huda and I managed to attend our ex-schoolmate's wedding. Yeahh.. Luckily Huda and I was in Sg.Petani during the whole week. It's a good thing to be able to catch up with others. Sounds like going to meet gazillion people. No. It's just a small circle of friends. I do remember, when the first batch of us got married, there would be a medium group till we get to have a small reunion. Now, everyone is married, having kids, the circle is becoming smaller. It's the nature I guess. Everyone with inevitable commitment, even me sometimes didn't get to join the group. Tetiba melankolik pulak..

Only the groom was available during these photos taken. Siap sambut kitorg dgn kain pelekat lagi. Pengapit pulak yang siap dulu. Pengantin perempuan belum sampai hence, explaining why she wasn't in the photo. We were the first batch to arrive since Khairul, Huda and I wanted to eat Laksa Teluk Kechai at Kuala Kedah. Have you tried that? Hehe..

Did you notice 2 guys were standing on the left? They were queuing for take-away. 1kg is RM12. Yours truly being the lovely sister, daughter 'tapau' too for the family. Hahahaa..

Teh Tarik Place @ The Curve

Assalamualaikum semua..

Greeting bloggers.

I feel that sometimes it could be tough for us to decide on what to eat hence there are so many restaurants in a place. Let's take The Curve for an example. Curve has quite a number of restaurants and I'm pretty sure you would agree with me. My partner and I once stood on the bridge (where you can see The Street) and think where should we have our lunch/dinner. Sounds familiar or am I too overstating it. Haha.... Then, he said his brother always 'lepak' at Teh Tarik Place. So, JOM!!

No splitting bill OK.

This really reminds me of our school's principle, Khalid Dan who taught us to not splitting bill at restaurants. Kira tak mau bayar asing-asinglah. Bukan suruh orang belanja.. Tapi kutiplah sorang-sorang then seorang je wakil yang pergi bayar. Haha. Serius teringat tuan pengetua cakap waktu perhimpunan sekolah. And you know what? He also told us that by eating bean sprout would make you taller. I still do not know whether it's a myth, a believe or a fact. Or perhaps he's just encouraging us to eat vegetable at DM (Dewan Makan) which frequently serves bean sprout vege.

Nasi kerabu. RM6.90. Nice.. But a bit sour to my like. My partner said it's because I mix everything. Aren't we suppose to mix all of it before eating? Perhaps the sambal or maybe it is suppose to be like that.

Hewwww.. It's been a while I have abandoned my blog. Lack of enthusiasm and mojo to blog I guess.

I'm here today to feast your eyes with Ayam Penyet which I had last Sunday at KL Festival City. I bukan jenis makan pedas sangat.. Tapi still boleh tahan.. But I think the sambal is too HOT!!! Sangat pedas lah.. Huhu.. Not that I haven't tried this kind of sambal before, but still too hot.. And to my disappointment (Ok.. this might be my tummy's fault for not adjusting to the spiciness level), I had few toilet breaks on the very next day. I swear I won't eat at Ayam Penyet - AP anymore. Lucky for those who has strong tummy. I know my partner does.

Phewwww.... It's been a while I have left my precious blog in silent.

So... It's 4th day of 2012. Syukur Alhamdulillah for I am still here, breathing and having the chances to live a life. Won't write any crap today since I have few datelines to catch. I have no new resolutions yet since there are still quite a number of things which I have not done yet. So, let's hope this year I can cross them out. Ameen.

My friend is let go-ing his Calvin Klein perfumes at a bargain price. Please do me a favour. Kindly do not ask me whether they are defected or what so ever so-called 'cacat' perfume. I assure you they are 100% genuine and all four of them were bought/got (as free gift) from Isetan, KLCC. Furthermore, they are NEW, which means never been used. Let just say it is some sort of dressing table clearance. We ladies do that often right? Hehee.. Oh yeahh.. At the moment, only perfumes for men are available. Wednesday is always a movie day.. It's for obvious reason - cheaper ticket price !!

What did I watch last Wednesday?

Ombak Rindu .. pheww.. watched it for the sake of rave review and my male colleagues and friends confessed that they CRIED while watching it. I was like errrr... Seriously? Ok.. Honestly, I did spare tissue paper just in case I sobbed. Well.. No.. I didn't. Terasa pun tidak.. Or maybe it was because we were seating beside one obsessed lady, who kept complaining/reviewing/arguing throughout the movie. Sekejap sekejap 'Pekak ke' - this was where she mimicked Aaron's dialogue to Maya Karin. Or 'Nak buang, buang je lah.. simpan aper lg' - this took place when Lisa Surihani was on a bed crying and pulling out her huge wedding ring after she found out about Izzah just to put it back again. Such an annoying lady. Countless words/lousy thoughts was out from her non-stop blabbering mouth. Should always bear in mind everyone is paying the same ticket price with you. On the other hand, I'm just glad my partner was the one seating beside her. Goodness.

Another thing is.. Garrett!!!!

Got to taste it for the 2nd time.

Almond caramel crisp. RM19 for small pack. Pricey but worth it. A bit too sweet to my taste though. Ok la.. xder nak makan selalu.. Right?

Read few tremendous reviews on ben's. Of course, I'm not going to be left out from good foods. I had in mind to go to ben's at Bangsar Village but somehow I ended up at KLCC. Ngeeeee. No matter what as long as it is ben's. It's been a while I haven't been to KLCC since partner spend most of his weekdays there, thus it seems unfair for him to still see the same atmosphere during weekend. But somehow, I guess that weekend I ran out of idea where to go, there we were.. When we arrived, no one greeted us at the entrance. Nvm. Diri-diri kejap x tau nak buat aper. So, we made our way into the place and picked our seat.

Traditional fish and chips. RM29.90.

Spaghettini Carbonara. RM21.90 .. with beef bacon, mushrooms and cream. Pricey. Just my 2 cents.

Choc banana smoothie. RM11.90. Watermelon. RM10.90.. Yummy~~~

I am grateful, at last I dapat juga merasa makan kat ben's. Though I would say, the foods are pricey. But I guess that is standard price at KL for that kind of foods and places. While waiting for the food, there were cue cards for you to play with, in case you ran out of idea to chat with your friends. LOL..

It was just around the corner so I thought I could just dropped by at Nivea Clearance Sale. Perhaps could restock some stuffs. Haha.. Yeahh..

The sale was held at DKSH, Jalan Universiti, just right after Jaya One. Scholl Warehouse Sale was here too!! And you know what? Clarks was having Clarks Warehouse Sale at Jaya One during that precious weekend. Woot wooooooott.. Super awesome. It's like killing 3 birds with 1 stone. Ain't that super awesome..

My haul for Nivea Clearance Sale.. Price?

Nivea stick Calm & Care : RM9 for 2.

Nivea spray Extra Whitening : RM15 for 4 bottles.

Eucerin lotion : RM10 for 4.

My friends and I divided the stuffs into 2. Otherwise I don't know how long will it take for the products to finish by self using. I'm glad I was not alone. If not, I won't be getting the super sale price. Terima kasih kawan. Siap jumpa my junior kat situ lg. Sasha who is apparently working with Nivea now. You go girl!!

OK.. Here comes the most exciting part.

I'm so glad that I didn't have to queue for hours, like reviewed by most customers for the 1st 2 days. In fact, I queued for merely few seconds to get into the hall. Not really pack.. Still breathing nicely. But heck.. It was Clarks sale.. Everyone went frantic despite there were only 3 Chinese guys who had to keep pushing the tables forward again and again because of the crowd cramped at the popular site : Clarks Group (I think). Haha. The main key is PATIENT. They'll serve you one by one regardless the maniac they were facing. Kudos to you guys !!

My haul? * Sikit jerr...

Managed to grab only 1 pair for myself since size was a very critical issue on very last day of sale. My friend was lucky enough to grab one pair of Un Piper in brown just as she wished while we were sorting out shoes in the middle lane when one nice uncle approached us asking what size are we looking for.. lucky girl.. Huhu.. Owh.. It was RM100 for Un Piper .. Retail price was RM248. Goodness.

That Rustic Edge? It was RM358. Sale price? RM190.. Super awesome..

Alhamdulillah.. I'm all smile even it was merely for a new pair of sandal. Save a lot of money since I was thinking to buy Fit Flop.. *Urut dada.. Phewww..

I'm sure my partner can't wait to claim his shoes..

Climbing up Broga Hill

Salam and greeting bloggers...

It was fun!! Can't believe finally I made it up to Broga Hill. Although we didn't go up to the peak but it was certainly an experience. To hikers/climbers just shushhh will ya.. Hahahaa. Owh before that, please take note this entry is heavy loaded with photos. The journey itself will be divided into 2 entries. Over kan. (>.<) .. I departed from KL at 5.15 am. Late I know. Joined with the rest at Bangi at 5.40 am. We performed Subuh prayer at Masjid Semenyih. Lots of people already during that time. Then off to Broga Hill. The kebun kelapa sawit-parking area fee was RM2. The sun was rising already so, the dream to watch the sunrise went kaput.

Here we go!!!

It was still a bit dark at 6.40 am . Everyone was still fresh and excited to conquer Broga Hill.

Half way there. This was like after several stop-checkpoints that we had.

Yang depan tu pendaki tegar. Yang belakang berbaju ~~Arsenal~~ Liverpool sama macam saya.. Naik Broga untuk kurangkan berat .. Hahahahahha..

Ok. Sempat..

This part was so steep. I sampai naik tak tgk bawah dah. Huhu. Pada yang dh biasa just shussshhh.. Senyap2 jer.

Half way up, the scenery was breathtaking. Terus tarik balik ckp tadi kata "This is my 1st and last coming up here" ... Next time nak naik lagi atas ke tempat yang belum sampai.

No idea which peak this is.

Since it was raining the night before, mud was all over the shoes.

We went down at 9.30 am since it was getting hotter and sunnier. And mulalah keluar teori lapisan ozon yang makin nipis bermakna kita dh dekat dgn matahari .. Bla bla bla.. I'm sure most of you made that kind of theory as well, though in science term I'm not sure whether it is proven or not. You know better.

Reached foothills in one piece. They sold coconut drink, mineral water etc.

Luckily, I kept old newspapers in the boot-used as shoes mat. Less dirt for Bobo.

Yay !!!

After that, we head off to Kampung Jeram Kedah which has an amazing-nice view waterfall.

Laksam @ Anis Puteri

For people around Pantai Dalam/Kerinchi , I am sure you are fond of Anis Puteri Restaurant. Well, if you are Kelantanese, it would definitely add bonus point to it. Me? Not really. But I do love Kelantanese food. Trust me when I say I can eat budu with Nasi Kerabu while some can't or allergic to it. The only thing I can't stand with Anis Puteri is their drinks. They are way too sweet for me although I requested for "kurang kurang kurang" manis. Normally I would have plain water.

Oh yeah.. I love laksam too!! Currently at my working place, one of my colleague's wife can cook laksam extremely WELL. Very the WELL I tell you until we always try to request to have her special laksam for certain occasion.Hehe..

Greetings...

Lama sungguh tak buat entry pasal makanan.. Photos taken but kept in my BB and pc. Phewww... Have to rearrange all photos and remember back where have I had this and that. I need to rename the foods after this.

Since early of this year, I have skipped Midvalley for outing destination and chose Tropicana City Mall instead. My partner chose it for obvious reason. Less crowd. Mungkin dah makin meningkat usia nie, lebih suka mencari tempat yang lebih tenang. (^.^) . Eh. My friend Nazia pun prefer Tropicana. But that girl is another story. She kinda dislike shopping. Huhu. Good girl.

We always passed by Pastry Culture but never decided to have a sit. So, that day.. konon-konon nak makan ringan-ringan .. rileks santai.. singgahlah before masuk wayang.

We took Pasta Special which consists of Mineral Water + pasta + Miniature cake of the day + Ice-cream. (It's in the banner)

Pasta with Mushroom + carbonara. Simple and sedap.

Miniature cake of the day + Ice-cream.

All that for RM9.90. *I don't remember whether tax is included or not.

Fixing Bobo's Ear

I was referring to THIS entry.

Alhamdulillah.. No one was injured. Only a small dent on the bonnet and my side mirror was detached. The bracket (black part) was broken leaving it hanging and I was super scared that it might fell off while I was driving. Knowing me that always want everything to be fixed fast, and thank goodness the mirror only got the chance to hang for merely a day. Phewwww.. After all, who wants to be seen driving with a side mirror like that and most important thing is it was hard to not have that side mirror. Goshh.. My lecturer's car had a large dent. He managed to reverse but somehow still no luck on our side.

A bit of chronology for the whole fixing process.

The next day morning I called Perodua asking how much would that cost me to replace the side mirror. To my surprise, it costs RM336 (whole side mirror) + RM 40 (paint) + RM 25 (installation). *silent... huhu.. Then, I called the 2nd Perodua centre. RM336.40 (whole side mirror) + RM 50 (Paint). Installation fee was included. So, cheaper a bit from the 1st centre. Still *silent.

I turned to Mr. Google for help. I found THIS at mudah.my.

It cost RM88. And if you refer photo below, that was the only broken part since the mirror is still OK. *I saw a light of hope. Sinar harapan org Melayu ckp.

I told my colleague about that. But still, I need it fast and for that I need to dash to Shah Alam/Puchong to pick that stuff. Plan hold. So, we went to Bay Brothers at PJ. They don't sell the bracket itself. So, I took the whole side mirror for RM110 with the plan to use only the bracket.

Of to a bengkel afterwards. It was a bit complicated for the uncle to understand how I wanted it to be done since he insisted it couldn't be done. But with a lil bit of creativity by my colleague, we managed to pull it off. Yeayyyyy.. *Save the money for painting cost.

How can I not be grateful enough that day? I save from ~RM400 to only RM150.

Couldn't say more when Bobo's ear was completely fixed.

Saya pun tidak tahu. To me, sharing is when you feel you can't endure the sadness, agony etc.. (all those -ve feeling..) to yourself. So, what do you do? You share with your besties. I know I don't have much. Oleh itu, mmg org2 yg sama ja wajib/terpaksa mendengar keluhan2 tersebut. Whether it's happiness or sadness. Aper2 pun boleh lah kan.

So, what happen IF you shared your thoughts but somehow didn't get the response that you've wanted/expected. Hmmm.. Saya? Sedih lah kan.. When what I've wanted was only words that could console me, but in the end.. It was silence that I get. Saya redha.

since i'm on my back to kedah,rasa nak tune pi slang kedah lah. dalam duk nak sampai sg.petani, byk jenis driver dpt tgk. yg ok, ok lah..yg x ok.. masyallah.. simple rules. kalau dh rasa bw pelan, duk la lane tepi.. nie bawa 80km/j ada hati nak jugak duk lane kanan. duk ingat driver laki ja ketegaq.tp td nmpk myvi merah jambu driver perempuan dh kena hon pun gigih sgt nak duk kanan. isu gender mmg x pnh bo dipakai.

macam mana nak tau kita bw pelan?

Less fat.. less salt.. less calories... Super awesome.. Konon2 boleh makan super banyak without having to think of fat. Seriously? Aper2 pun.. Alhamdulillah kenyang.. Kenny Rogers Roasters yall....

This took place at Tropicana City Mall. It was on Sunday .. We managed to successfully book the table at 6.40pm.

As usual .. These muffins come with the set. Banana & chocolate (always my favourite)

1/4 black pepper chicken with corn, coleslaw and fresh fruits.

Try this!! 1/4 Balinese Chicken (marinated in special citrus, herbs and spice) with mashed potato, potato salad and rice. RM17.50.. Yummy!!!

Tea latte & Caramel chocolate ice blended.

Owh.. please try this.. Must try!! Heavenly delicious.

Warm chocolate oasis... Extremely drooling.. beneath the ice cream and choc cake is the warm chocolate sauce. I hope I get that right. But seriously.. Must try..

For those who love Thai food, you should definitely go to Vicchuda Tomyam. Our malay style food was as delicious as ever. Everything was nice. My stomach is growling at the moment, leaving me with less energy to type this entry. It was an absolute tiring day to me.

I'll leave you with photos as usual..

All these!! For 7 people. It's not much actually when we had 2 people with huge appetite to finish the dishes.

Telur dadar. Simple yet yummy. Not really good for dieting purpose.

Indonesia Food at Brisik, Jaya One

I never thought Jaya One has hidden restaurants inside it. I accidentally knew about other shops in it, when I went to Ecoparadise to have hot bed after purchasing coupon. One day, while walking around Jaya One in searching for restaurants to eat, we stumbled into Brisik. They serve Indonesian food. Me loikeeee.. We went in since we wanted to eat rice, and other option was mamak restaurant. Not in the mood for mamak that day. We went upstairs, the decoration was splendid. Very colourful and the light was a bit dimmed. Feeling feeling romantic gitewww..

Hardly remember this one. Ayam rendang? Hmm.. if it is.. it is Rm20. Sangat sedap!!! We had nasi Brisik (aromatic steamed rice cook with pumpkin) with the lauk. Sedap jugak.

Sate ayam.. Yummy jugak.. This one x ingat price.. I didn't take picture of it.

I love the food. They speak for the price. Worth it. Boleh pergi lagi insyaAllah.

Splendid Saturday..

Indeed... It was one splendid afternoon to me yesterday.. After what feel like a week of breaking fast with only nestum CERELAC (I called it Nestum during my kid time), it is such a bless to be able to eat rice again. Huhuhuhu.. Owh.. Reason? I had my wisdom teeth out for good. Truthfully, I didn't really experienced the pain, except 4 hours before breaking fast. Well, thanks to the pills. They really took away the pain. Will tell you more on that later.

Back to my Saturday. My partner and I went to The Curve yesterday for breaking fast. We went out a bit early to avoid traffic jam but to our surprise, the road was quite clear. Thank goodness. First thing first, book a place for breaking fast. We decided to have our IFTAR at Ma'cik Biryani. Never tried that place before. As usual, we placed our booking and ordered food, then off to JJCM (not that cari makan.. cuci mata yer).. Puasa kan.. Our JJCM didn't really go well, I guess our empty tummy prohibit us from walking and shopping to the extend. But at least now I know those simple maxi dresses (from Korea and Hong Kong) didn't fit my butt well like mine which I bought from Supre via online. I would prefer them to be a bit loose. Or should I say, I have gain weight? *sob sob.. Ok ok.. abaikan.. As usual.. Photos..

Breaking fast at Ma'cik Biryani. Ala-carte.. The restaurant is located at 1st floor beside Chomey (Kelantan cuisine). During Ramadhan, Chomey's breaking fast is Buffet type. RM35++ (if I'm not mistaken) per adult.

Biryani chicken.. If you eat like me, don't bother to share. My 1st impression, I said "Wow.. This dish can be shared for 2 persons.. Plenty of rice.. Boleh mintak pinggan kosong 1 lg nie..".. Nahh. I finished all of it by myself (minus few spoons that my partner had). Here, they don't serve the dish with kuah dal (?) which is normally served with nasi biryani (or briyani?). So, it is a bit dry.

Pardon me for the not so good arrangement of rice & chicken. This is after I put them on the plate. Price ? RM17.80

Koewteow Soup Pedas. In the menu it is bee hoon. My partner opt for koewteow. This one super nice. RM13.80

Ice cream with jelly.. RM3.80.. It tastes just nice.. Like .. ice cream .. What else?

Honey lime. It is honey lime.. But I really missed Tappers' version. Need to head to Tappers soon.

Overall, I like the restaurant's ambient.. There will be one person to check whether all your ordered food has arrived or not. One thing is, all of them are not local. Ke ader?

After prayer, we went to e@Curve to catch movie. The plan is to watch Rise of the planet of the Apes but somehow we diverted to Horrible Bosses.

My 2 cents? Hilarious.. lot's of laugh practically for its xxx scene/words/dialogs. I quite dislike for its tooooo many F*** words. Once, twice, three times fine. Throughout the movies? Blurrrghh.. I know.. I mmg orthodox. Please excuse me for that.

Puasa #5 - Breaking Fast at Nando's, Jaya One

Assalamualaikum and greeting readers..

This entry is about breaking fast again.. I know.. Ramadhan is about food galore beside many other good things. We went to Nando's last friday since it was 7pm already I was picked up from my place. Plus, Jaya One is only few minutes away. Ok. Next time, I'm going to try Wendy. Why? Just because they put their flyer on the windscreen. The fries looks tempting. We reached Nando's at ~7.15 pm.

We were told that our order is going to be a bit late, therefore we ate the kurma and had our drink first. Kurma with almond ok. Jangan buang biji kat dalam kurma tu like I did. Bila baca label/packaging baru perasan that was almond and not typical biji kurma.. Nampak sgt x biasa makan kurma mahal.. T____T

Alhamdulillah.. Hari ke-6 puasa berpeluang berbuka bersama sahabat-sahabat dari Bangi.

My partner joined us too. It was a blessed breaking fast. Dramatic aite? Ye la.. If not with anyone, buka puasa sorang2 je.. thus whenever this kind of opportunity comes, I am grateful for it. We started the afternoon with jalan-jalan at Jalan Masjid India all the way up till Jalan TAR. Now I know we can cross over the road to reach Jalan TAR. I never knew it before. Huhu. The place wasn't really packed with people yet. Bermaksud takder sampai berlaga-laga bahu lagi yer. Sangat menggugat iman berjalan di lorong-lorong gerai dengan lambakan juadah hidangan dan makanan-makanan yang sangatlah menarik. Gosh.. We decided to have a mini breaking fast prior to real breaking fast. We had air mata kuching for RM1 (small) and RM2 (big) first. Off to Masjid Polis over there for Maghrib. Or was it surau?

Alhamdulillah... Yesterday was our 2nd day fasting in Ramadhan. I am grateful that I am still given chance to face Ramadhan this year and also for many other things. >.< .. My 1st day of breaking fast was with my family. It was a marvelous thing to get to sahur and buka puasa with family. Why? Mother's cook la darls... Haiya... Drooooooool...... Cuti 2 hari mmg berbaloi-baloi.

2nd day buka puasa? Berjaya buka puasa dgn partner.. Alhamdulillah. Due to heavy traffic jam, he managed to reach me after almost 2 hours. So typical of Ramadhan with traffic jam. Luckily SS2 Mall is nearby. It was my 1st time going inside SS2 Mall despite it's merely few minutes (minus traffic jam at the roundabout) from my place. To my surprise, the mall is huge. But of course, still looks empty since most of the stores are not opened yet. Btw, free parking is provided inside. We reached Belanga at 7pm. Sempat order dan dpt makanan sebelum berbuka. FYI, only few customers at that time. Probably it's still early. Loikeee.. Dapat berbuka puasa dengan tenang.

Nasi goreng belacan. Yummy..

Nasi kerabu ayam percik : RM13.90.. Sedap. Tapi seriously teringat nasi kerabu Wan Atiq kat Pasar malam Bangi. My 2 cents.. Wan Atiq's version is way stomach blowing. Translate : Wan Atiq nyer lagi masyuk.

Coconut shake (RM8.90) and sagoo... NR Cafe at Kuala Terengganu coconut shake is still unbeatable!! However, the sagoo is nice.

Kurma pun ada..

OK.. If you are looking for any extra desserts, Tutti Frutti is just right down there from Belanga. A surau is provided at Ground floor too. Easy right?

Gosh.. Drafting this entry really make my stomach go growwwwllllllll.. It's lunch time now but I'll publish it later on. Ahaks.. Sgt seksa. If any of you who happen to drop by, do you mind to share with me any suggestions of restaurant or gerai to have buka puasa. I quite do not fancy buffet type. It's not good for my diet (and my purse too).. Huhu.

I'm soooooo outdated.. Satu Malaya dah tau pasal Soap & Glory, I baru nak tau.

Never too late though. Ok.. So, what makes me fell in love with this pinky stuffs?

My goodness.. Everything about the whole thing in the pic I love to the bits. From the shower mist, shower gel, hair repair mask, body scrub (flake away) & body butter (I love this the most). Bought this during my recent trip to Singapore for 28 SGD. I believe if you buy this at Sephora (Malaysia), it would be slightly cheaper. Around RM1 or RM2 less. If... I'm not mistaken. I was holding the mini body butter (7 SGD) in the first place, then only the SA showed my this gift box. It's 28 SGD. Terus amik !! I've been eyeing to try Soap & Glory products for the great reviews and also for the affordable price ever since, I dunno.. last year? Dolu dolu I mana tau these kind of stuffs. Went to Sephora, Sg (before Sephora came to KL) pun x tau nak beli apa. Enough with the crap. I am totally in love with Soaper Heroes !!! Everything is sooooo wangi !!!!!

Then I grabbed this too.. Scrub Your Nose In It for 17 SGD. It was damn hard not to try to convert everything into RM. So, tutup mata.. Stop calculating.. Pick what I want then straight away put into the basket. Since my facial scrub is going to finish soon, I guess it's the right thing to do. And yeah.. I have the large pores thingy on my nose, so I definitely need it. Such an excellent excuse. I know.

It can act as a mask too. Kata rajin kan..

So, far I found the scrub works fine with me. Just tiny tiny micro grain (felt like it). Me loikeee.. I super love the smell too.

As promised at my previous entry on talking about Clip & Tips hair Studio. I bought a voucher at Hahah deals for a hair cut + wash + blow at Clip & Tips for RM18/RM20. I can't recall how much was it. I think it was RM18. Clip & Tips is located at Jaya One, Petaling Jaya. Merely 5 minutes away from my place. Since it's near (super cheap actually), I bought it for my partner to have a try since he always complain about his unmanageable-not many hair stylist can't understand hair. Thing happened. I asked Huda whether she wanted to try it. She agreed. So, I brought her instead. It is located at Jaya One, basement car park.

Her hair was done by Nicholas. From their FB page, I knew that he's a specialist in short hair. It's proven!! So, if you want to transform your long hair into super short or bob cut like previously Victoria Beckham had, I highly recommend him to style your hair.

Posh bob = Pob cut .. Seriously they'll turn out as gorgeous as you could ever imagined.

Clip & Tips do provide manicure and pedicure service. However I haven't seen anyone have their nails done during my visit.

The other hairstylist, Benny if I'm not mistaken is just as good as Nicholas. I've seen one customer telling his friend that he's good. And yeah.. So, if you are up for a short hair cut you should get it here. Just my 2 cents. I had my hair done previously at Vanity Hairven and guess what, I had it cut again at Clip & Tips since the haircut makes me feeling unease when I'm wearing my 'tudung' (hijab).. Rambut tkeluar sana-sini. I'm sure most girls would get what I meant here.

Owh no.. I'm not being paid by telling you all this. Purely my $0.02..

As for Muslim ladies.. I didn't notice whether they have private room for us or not. Don't think so.

Gloomy Monday.. yeah.. Without a doubt.. Woke up this morning with an indescribable feeling.. Still struggling in these first few hours to walk around with a straight face.

Too many things that I want to update but somehow couldn't fine time to do so. Or maybe mood-less to move my fingers. Entry foodies 1st!!

Last weekend, my team/friends spent our time at Kuala Terengganu for a week. Gosh.. It was so hot till I bathed couple of times in a day. Freaking hot. But luckily, towards the end of the week, it started to rain, Alhamdulillah till I stopped complaining. Hahaha.. Before we went over, my friend already told me about YUMMY FOOD!! Naaaaaa.. It's not yummy but more to 'wajib makan' when we are there. Tapi still sedap lah. Only on our 3rd last day, we managed to go over that place. It's kinda hard for us to go, since we're only free during dark and that KETAM place closed at ~7.30pm. Thank you to you for lending me your car. Can't express how thankful I am. Dapat jugak makan ketam. Xder la balik KL kempunan. Owh.. it's located at Teluk Ketapang. Famous place, so I guess most of you already knew about it. There are few gerai so you get to choose which gerai to seat in. Nama gerai? Tak ingat.. huhu.. Owh.. Please take note.. Photos are taken with hp. Didn't bring along my baby.

Then, that night, we went to NR Cafe (suggested by Jar).. The place was just nice. Nothing fancy. But .. The coconut shake was mind blowing. Siap ada ice cream. The ice cream looks like a piece of isi kelapa. Tertipu di situ. Location? Merely few minutes from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). From UMT turn left then fix your eyes to the left road. You'll definitely find it.

This ABC? Location : Mengabang Telipot. They do have Jagung Parut. Celup tepung here was just so and so.

What interest me the most is the view and sea breeze.

I've been googling for cafes to have light snack or desserts for the fun of 'lepak-ing' around Bangsar. Until to-date, I found quite a number of them. For example, in Bangsar Village I & II, there are 13 restaurants/cafes respectively. Total of them is 26! Banyak kan.. Such a food galore I must say and definitely going to try one by one of them. I stated here Bangsar Village since it is one of the nearest spot to my place besides Midvalley. I guess, my dream came true. *Over la sgt.. Makan je pun.. Last week, I had a chance to indulge sweet & yummy cakes at MARMALADE. Yay!!! Thanks Naz !! *bukan nama sebenar. LOL... Since her friend was here, I got to be treated too. FYI, saya GPS bergerak untuk dia. Enough said.. Hope the pictures won't spoil you.

Three of us shared 2 slices of that cake and end up very full. Next time, should try one slice at each visit.

Both are delicious... Not so sweet.. Just the way we love it. RM11 each.

Time to say goodbye. We went to window shopping afterwards. Tak beli aper.. Tgk tingkap pun jadi. Her friend is a big fan of Liz Claiborne. So, we went inside and found these 2 cozy sofas and a huge mirror.

Alhamdulillah for being surrounded with friends who enjoy eating as much as I do.. No wonder I keep gaining weight.. Huhuhu.. So, have you heard of Balifeel? Located at Bangsar Sphere, serve Indonesian food. I've been visiting this place regularly last time, but then I skipped visiting Balifeel since I prefer Pecel Lele at Hentian Kajang which cost me only RM4.50 as compared to Balifeel which is double up the price. My visit last week to Balifeel was with friends (orang belanja).. Ngeeeee.. Rezeki rezeki....

For those who stay around Bangsar, Kerinchi, Pantai Dalam must be familiar or have heard of Balifeel. Carrefour is here too. Kalau selalu beli barang dapur di Carrefour mesti perasan restoran tersebut. At Balifeel, you can opt to sit inside or outside. If you want the air-con, you have no option but to seat inside.

Idaman Balifeel RM24. A combination of grilled prawns, fish, cumi cumi & chicken rendang served with urap (?), lalap (?) and spicy sambal.

Look yummy right? But I still miss the crunchiness of catfish at Hentian Kajang..

Tetiba rasa nak buat solo trip.. Tapi yakin ke nak buat trip sesorg.. Grrrrrr... Tiket dah beli.. I was damn lucky since that tix was bought during Air Asia promo and the destination is still in Malaysia .. KUCHING.. Never been there before.. My friend couldn't make it. Still thinking.. But I guess.. worth going.. Even tau nnt dah sampai sana, x tau nak buat aper.. Kat sini nak makan sorg2 pun x reti. ~~Sgt x berdikari~~.. Walaupun dah berangan-angan nak jalan-jalan di persisiran Waterfront itu with my baby hanging on the neck snapping lovely sunset view. Naik sampan ke Kg. Boyan beli the famous kek lapis Dayang Salhah. Muzium Kucing yang friend claim lawak.. I guess I should just go instead of rambling here.

Look familiar to you? We went to Flying Chillies again at The Gardens for lunch. I love the service there and I would definitely prefer Flying Chillies over Amarin.

Pandan leaves chicken : RM15 .. Yummy!!

Stir fried baby kailan with salted fish : RM 15

Stir fried chicken with hot basil : RM 15.. Always my favourite.

Crispy catfish with green mango salad : RM13.50 .. Really crispy.. trust me.

Cheaper Version of Assets & Spanx : Style Up!!

Found this Style Up at Uniqlo, Fahrenheit 88 yesterday. Yay.. Finally.. dah sampai jugak Fahrenheit.. Though in the end I conclude nothing really special there especially the foods. Might as well cross over to Pavilion if you want to eat.

Okay.. I don't read Japanese, thus I couldn't explain to you what it is all about. But, all I can say is, it is sort of a cheaper version (way cheaper) of Assets & Spanx. I own a ASSETS Sensational Shaper which work just fine for me. That explains why I din't buy the shorts one. Tapi sekarang fikir rasa rugi lak x beli. huhuhu. Uniqlo was having a limited period sale yesterday and this Style Up was slashed to 50% discount from Rm49.90 to RM 24.90. Hip hip horaaaayy.. No harm to buy one. I tried both size M & L. Not much different for me since they are stretchy.

*For those with awesome Japanese tongue and hand, please correct me if I translated katakana words up there wrongly.

Owh.. I amik L since takut gemuk nanti.. But somehow rasa patut amik M kot kot nanti it'll lost tahap ke'strecthy'-an nya.

Sandakan Trip - Part III

On our 2nd day, we went to watch Orang Utan at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Unfortunately, we arrived there at noon and they are close until 2pm, since feeding time is at 10 am and 3 pm. So, engine started, we went to wonder around.

First stop : Sepilok Jungle Resort. We only went in to have a walk around. Enjoy the pictures.

Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre is in walking distance from here. You certainly won't miss the sight of tourist walking from here and there. Us? Naaahhhhhh.. We drove all the way here and there because we paid for the Kancil 660 RM90 per day.

Orang Utan? Wait for my next entry..

Sandakan Trip - Part II

As mentioned HERE, our dinner!!! Local told us there are 2 seafood restaurants in Sandakan - Ocean King (the famous) & Restaurant Pasir Putih Baru (least famous). Mr. Darby (we rent a car from him), told us that the quality of the food for both of the restaurants are the same except Ocean King is more expensive than Pasir Putih Baru. But, in terms of choices, Ocean King is better. I'm not a seafood avid eater, so, I couldn't care less whichever as long the price speaks according to the taste. Still, cheaper is better. *cheapskate.

We went through the road then, since we saw Pasir Putih Baru first, we just parked in our car there. These are what we have :

Sotong Goreng Tepung

Ikan &*%&^$%^$ masak taucu.. I tak ingat nama ikan.

Udang goreng mentega

Sayur campur .. Mixed vege

Total is RM91.90.. Is it cheap? Atau sama ja makan dekat Alai or Umbai, Melaka? Been there.. Perhaps different place different style/price/quality?

Here is the 1st part of my holiday at Sandakan. It was unplanned. I bought tickets for me and my family to Sandakan during Air Asia promo. Why Sandakan? Well, during that time only Sandakan tickets price sound reasonable enough to me. Plus, I haven't been to East Malaysia before. So, why not..

17 January 2011

We departed from LCCT at 7.35 am. Flight duration from KL to Sandakan took 2 hours & 45 minutes. Upon our arrival we took cab to the hotel. RM26.50 to Seafront Hotel. Nothing much to see at the airport. From my view : None .. Only souvenir shops for last minute shopping and rental car booths outside the airport. Taxi services are provided with coupon purchase. So, no tipu-tipu. There is a tourist agency if you are looking for any infos on Sandakan such as places to visit etc.

It took only 15-20 minutes to our hotel. Luckily we managed to check in earlier than it should be. The driver told us the hotel that we stay was located in dead city. Dead city? YESH!! But like Bangi, they do have new town where you can find Secret recipe, Old Town etc. Some people that we met through our stay told us that places to visit are far from each other. Well. Not really. It was not that far. Semua cakap Sepilok jauh sangat dari bandar. Tapi bila bawa kereta eh eh eh eh.. Dah sampai rupanya.. So, xda la jauh sgt. Mungkin sebab kereta pun tak banyak. I'll tell about Sepilok visit on my next entry.

Back to the hotel. The hotel was just fine. Only the water pressure was damn too low. Tapi masih boleh mandi. The location was near to KD Sri Sandakan. You can see the sea from the hotel. Rest for a while. Then off to KFC. Very old-school the town I tell ya. But!! You can see all banks are here. Well..most of them. HSBC, CIMB, Maybank etc. Shopping? Definitely NOT a place for it.

Datang Sandakan cari KFC jugak. There are not many decent stalls here. We found Guardian, Watsons and Body Shop located side by side. Since mum forgot to bring her lipstick, she bought it there. Again, I compared prices between Guardian & Watsons. End up save RM3. Hahaaaa..

Review : Sommerset Nails & Waxing

Terribly sorry for the delay of posting this entry. I got stuck with load of works. So, as promised. A review on Sommerset Nails & Waxing. I was not paid or anything ya.. Just to share with you ladies. Sommerset is located at 1st floor along Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar. You'll find this below door then push the bell, then only you will be granted to enter.

Sommerset is having promotion for Brazilian/Hollywood with trial price at RM55. However, if you are first timer to this kind of waxing, Lene suggested that you combined soft & hard wax but then you have to add ~Rm20 from the trial price. Still sounds so attractive. Btw, please re-confirm with them first ya. I might heard it wrong since I don't really understand sometimes. *I'm new to all these wax things.

Oh yeah.. We went there to just have a look. Ala-ala survey. Definitely didn't have any plan to wax furthermore the brazilian.. Ouchh.. Then, suddenly decided to try since Lene was very nice entertaining us and answering silly questions from us or perhaps every 1st timer I suppose. We only had our bottom half legs to be waxed only. Kelly was our wax therapist that day. It cost Rm48 for each of us. Minda ya, if you have so many hairs/ quite hairy, it's going to hurt a bit if compared to not-so-hairy person. The process was done very quick. In fact I think it took only ~15 minutes to finish everything. The room was cozy also. The bed was a bit high but don't crawl onto it ya.. There is a step provided beside the bed for you to climb onto the bed.

The result? Me loikeee... The hair which grow back was finer than after you shave the leg. So, no more shaving after this. But there are still bumps on the skin. I bet it's because of the ingrown hair.You need to scrub or exfoliate 3 times a week to get rid of those bumps. I did that. Much better. Sometimes, it does itchy especially when the hair is growing back. Gosh. Have to bear with that. Definitely no scratching is allowed. But sometimes I do miss. hahaha.. Overall.. I am so into waxing now.

It's my day off!! Since my bff Huda came over as usual before went back to Miri, I took the day off. Feels great to have the day off while others were working. Don't you think? Okay. Morning arise, we woke up early because we need to go over to my friend's house since my house ran out of water due to the broken pipe outside. I wonder who hit that thing. Grrrrrrrr.... Luckily her house was only 2 stairs down. Then, around 10 am , off to Bangsar. I made an appointment at Kuku Bar using vouchers that I purchased via MyDeal at 11 am. Despite the usual busy-not-easy to get parking there, I was lucky to get a parking spot in a nick of time. What a good day to start. Paid the parking from 10.30 am until 2.30 pm. You definitely need to remember to pay the parking ticket since the authority always around to check your tickets displayed in your car.

We found Kuku Bar located at Jalan Telawi, Bangsar along with Alan Inspiration and Al-Rajhi bank. *only remember that 2. FYI, that RM33 voucher does not include buffing or colouring. Only basic manicure and pedicure. I added RM10 (buffing nails) & RM12 (buffing toes). Paid extra RM22.. another grrrrrrrr.. I might not read the voucher clearly. If I knew that, I may not ended buying the vouchers at all. I always go to Nail Bar @ Isetan, The Gardens and it costs me RM50 for pedicure and manicure. Buffing included. Enough complain. However, they were friendly and did my nails and toes amazingly. *clap clap.

We were the only customers there so, camwhoring without segan silu. Ngeeeeeee...

Started with pedicure.

Then only proceed with manicure.

Oh yeah.. Huda had her fingers with inai days before and they turn out nice and shiny after the manicure was done. It could be a tip for those who wanted their inai to look shiny.

After we left Kuku Bar, we went for a walk around, a thing that I've always wanted to do since there are so many shops around there. We made a stop at Sommerset Nails and Waxing. Wanna know what we did there? Wait for my next entry.

I was sorta got carried away with my skin condition. When I went over for my facial session I was told that I have a dehydrated skin which could lead to a sensitive skin. Argghhhhhh.. The beautician always remind me to apply mask to my face twice a week which I am soooooo lazy to do. So, approaching new year 2011 and knowing that I'm getting one year older snap me up to take a VERY GOOD CARE of my skin. I am definitely do not want to get any wrinkle soon before the time it suppose to exist on my skin.

Benar seperti yang dikata di atas.. Sungguh ketinggalan.. Dulu lalu kat Speedy Music Midvalley dah nampak video ni dimainkan di tv display. Waktu tue tgh jalan2 ngan Huda. Dia cakap Super Junior. And I was like.. err.. Saper kah gerangan Super Junior? hahahahha.. I bukan teenager ok.. Oleh itu, harus faham kalau x kenal.. O.0 ..But then it was definitely a catchy song. OK la.. Benar jugak seperti orang tua tua cakap.. Malu tanya sesat jalan. Balik google tak jumpa pun lagu tersebut. Actually I almost forgot how the song sounds already by that time. So, the search ended there. Then suddenly today, after almost couple of months, I bumped into the song. Benarlah kata orang tua-tua (lagi).. Kadang tak perlu cari bersungguh-sungguh. The latest Pleasures Bloom to join the other Pleasures. I love this.. Fell in love instantly.. *Such a drama. Been eye-ing to have Sensuous added to my collection, as if I have any. But then, was introduced by the SA to Pleasures Bloom. Love Love!! Love the floral scent. Pleasures Bloom set which consists of a 50ml Pleasures Bloom & a miniature priced at RM180. Miniature spray type and seems like can be refilled.

Estee Lauder's new holiday gift sets are offered in a cute Limited Edition Coach makeup bag which are available in 3 colours : gold, silver and bright red. But it says not valid with value sets and accessories. I wonder were all the sets and boxes referred as value sets? I'm pretty sure they are. Right? For men perfume, they do have all 4 miniatures for RM180.

Facial Session @ Zenth Spa

Tatkala bila poket makin menipis, tapi tetap nak jugak jaga penampilan, nak jugak pegi facial, nak juga pegi buang sel-sel kulit mati di badan terus lah menjenguk Everyday.com.my. Have you heard about it? There are other website too which offers things like Everyday.com.my, but the promotions would be different. In a good way I suppose since there will be lots of variety opportunities to us. I'll review another session that I purchase later. Here goes my 1st ever voucher purchase at Everyday. I bought a voucher of Intensive Face Therapy or Bust Therapy or Slimming Therapy (2 hours) @ Zenth Spa for only RM28!!!!!!! Yup.. Only RM28. No hidden charge.

So, last week, after reschedule for quite a few times (sampai dah segan nak call) I manage to redeem the voucher at Zenth Spa Midvalley. Zenth Spa Midvalley was located at the office buliding between Midvalley & The Gardens. Use the lift to go level 1, there I was. I opted for a facial for this session. The facial was called Crystal Collagen Facial. Ms. Cassey briefed to me an eye treatment was in too! Cool for my dark circle.

I was led to a room then need to change and wear a robe (macam berkemban). Normal stuff. My facial session was started with a light shoulder/head massage. It smells like ginger. Tekan-tekan je. Maybe it was to ease the tense? My therapist gave me a shoulder message in the middle of the facial session.

What I like most is, the extracting of black & whitehead were done manually. I mean with hand and tools. I kinda not prefer the vacuum thingy to extract those black & whitehead. Personal choice. She told me that my skin is dehydrated but internally is oily and that's why blackheads keep coming out. Need to get more mask done afterwards like 2 or 3 times a week. Noted! 2 pieces of collagen masks were placed on face and neck.

My conclusion : I love the facial / face therapy. So effective till my dark circle was a bit brighter. Meaning not so noticeable. Still there, but less concealer is going to be used. What I don't like is, (*this is normal I suppose) they were suggesting that I took their package. Don't get me wrong. I love their treatment but I like to go around. Just if I had extra kach$$$ing.. The face therapy would cost me RM300 if not for Everyday. >.< .. More reason to like Everyday.com.my.. Thanks to Zenth Spa too!

F.O.X Cosmetics Makeover!!

This is my first time putting up here photos of mine after a makeover. Not a so close up though. Shy shy cat I suppose.. Hahahhaha.. Bear with me ya. So, if you are wondering how I got the free makeover by f.o.x cosmetics, you can read HERE!! Anna is an active beauty blogger if you must know. So, quick quick click.. Who knows you might get a better thing.

Since they do not have a direct contact at the counter, I e-mailed Cynthia, the marketing asst. manager of F.O.X Cosmetics and was directed to Vanessa, the Sales & counter Executive to make an appointment at F.O.X counter at Parkson, Sg. Wang. On that day, I arrived fashionably late.. Huhu. If I were not wearing baju kurung, I would definitely walked really fast. We got lost a bit, having no idea which way was Parkson. Asked few persons then there I was, saying sorry to Kelly in the 1st place. O.o ... Kelly was the make up artist, who did my makeover. So does Anna. FYI, F.O.X is a make up brand from Taiwan.

I do not have the processes or step by step of the makeover session. So, I'll just tell you the story. >.< .. Plus, segan lah.. huhuhhuu..

As usual, the makeup primer was applied.. Or was it like the foundation or something.. It really gives my face a good coverage. FYI, my skin ain't flawless but blackhead and whitehead definitely are my long term enemies. It costs RM130. Quite pricey for me but I definitely would buy it if I have a thicker wallet later on. It also contains Hyaluronic Acid to keep your skin hydrated.

Then, sheer finish loose powder was applied.
Kelly used natural colour on me (me loikee). I kan bukan makeup junkie.. Satg sibuk lak nak remove kalau warna bagai sgt.
The Vibrating Infinite Powermascara. This is my 1st time ever experiencing a vibrating mascara. I am starting to love it. Reason? No need for the eyelash curler at all. Hoyeahhh..

Then, she applied Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in black. Trust me, this one is definitely a must buy item. I really love it. It didn't smudge at all till the evening. Rm 60 yallss... Waterproof too!!
Artist Colour for the cheek. Love the colour. The brushes Kelly was using on me was superbly soft. Hmm. I forgot to ask about them.
Last but not least, lipgloss for lippie. Love this too since it's non-sticky. Senang cakap.. semua suka lah..

I do not have a close up photo of me smiling with the makeup.. So, the eyes only for you ladies to show how the eye makeup look like. Well, at least you may get some idea. Mind you this photo is taken at 10 pm and my makeover was done at 12pm. So shiny shiny tue mmg kulit dah turn oily.. And NO.. I did not trim my eyebrow. Personal request to Kelly when I saw her hold the 'mini pisau'. Oh yeah.. My friend did compliment the eye makeup, saying that my eyes look bigger (*mata sepet kan)..

I am definitely not good at trying new things when it comes to food. Next time had to read reviews then only I could try to have them. And of course it doesn't apply to Malaysian food. Well, some of them maybe. But, if we never try any new things how are we going to make full use of our life? Gosh.. Again.. why am I making fuss on this whole new thing. Let see.. I tried a Korean food once at Food Junction. Sebab tgk cm menarik ja kan.. Then, they do have rice. So, I thought it was ok since rice is part of our everyday food right? Boy, I was wrong.

Gosh.. It's only 2nd day of working after quite a couple days of break for Eidul Adha. Certainly missing mother's cooking. Went back home my brother bought a digital weighing scale, not so sure whether it's for home or him. So, everyone went on weighing ourselves.. Pheww.. still on track. All thanks to good metabolism. It feels great to get to eat quite infinite without having to worry about gaining few extra spare tyres BUT the increasing number of ages makes me kinda get a grip to my eating habit. And also because my mother told me that I do have the potential to grow bigger. Wider I suppose? Eh.. Macam fortune teller lak my mum. When I was a student, besides food, money is quite a major. So, each day I would register the money that I spent for lunch in the box of my head, in purpose konon-konon plus dinner it won't exceed RM10 per day. Huhu. Whatever it is, Alhamdulillah for what I had and gone through till this day because of HIM. Bersyukur setiap hari. InsyaAllah dapat yang lebih baik dari DIA. Amin..

Okay.. So, today another food entree. Please bear with me ya. (>.<). Blog nie dah macam caca marba.. semua menda nak cerita..

I'm sure SS2 Murni is well known among most of you (especially PJ people). I've heard about SS2 Murni since 2 years ago and only got the chance when I started working nearby PJ. Until now, I only had breakfast and lunch at SS2 Murni. Still hasn't had the the time yet to try the dinner menu. They only have Roti Hawaii with other mee, bihun and nasi lemak for breakfast. I believe other roti as well like roti canai and etc. I only tried their Roti Hawaii and since then got stuck with it for a while. O.o

It is made of pineapple, sausages, eggs and perhaps some other stuffs. I don't know. Anyone can tell me? ROti Hawaii costs RM5 each (if I'm not mistaken). Normally my friend and I had this menu with 3 layer tea @ Teh C. Definitely Yummy!

I was so lack of update with movie recently. Got a call from my bro asking whether I had any plan on last Saturday, turn out he was passing 2 ~~free~~ tickets to watch Unstoppable at Midvalley. So, on Saturday, there I went to watch Chris Pine!!

The movie was so effingly awesome!! Not so recommended for people with heart failure & ibu-ibu mengandung. Haha.. Seriously, to wait for an anticipated-suspense scene to went by was so heart pounding. It's like you only get to exhale after the train managed to skip the Stanton corner without derailed and also when the people tried to pull the horses from the railway. I was about to think that the horses were about to get hit.

There is no need for any extra details. Just go and watch!! Gosh.. what a month with more movies to come.

p/s - Does it occur to any of you in your head to watch 2 ALAM? Blurrggggh......

L'Oreal Warehouse Sale Report!!

I am so glad I managed to make a visit to L'Oreal Warehouse Sale this time. I missed it before raya last time. Furthermore, this time it was held near to my place. Me looiiikeeeeee!!!! Initially, I was hesitated to go since konon-konon nak jimat duit. Then, saw Miu's updating at FB with all those so tempting sales and pictures and terus tergugat jati diri... Lol.. Luckily my good friend was so supportive to tag along. Thanks to you!!! Tell ya.. It is super awesome if you bring a friend along since when I arrived there, most of the items like "buy one free one" or those 2 stuffs were packed into 1 like the Lancome Magnifique perfume.

Lancome Magnifique : RM250. Each was tag RM140 (I didn't notice the price at 1st).. It was packed to our request. Actually we asked about 2 edp in 1 pack because the pre-pack were all edt. The SA agreed and she was the one suggested to have this 75ml and 50ml edp in one pack with RM250. But perhaps it was my ears at fault. My friend only realized it was edt when we unpacked the plastic and because it was priced RM 140 for the 75ml box. Bummer. (-.-) . Lesson : Next time, check properly.

Kiehl's Hand & Body Lotion and Kiehl's Gentle Exfoliating Body Scrub "Coriander".. Each costs RM30.

Biotherm Celluli Laser : Buy one free one... lol.. A quick grab. RM 50 (The price was reduced).

But then, the SA told that "buy the night cream and get the day cream free for only RM80".. Argggghhhhhhh.. Harus la amik kan. Ok.. If I took only the day cream it would cost me RM50. Rugi. Right? *sigh.. So, I took the offer. Extra RM30? Ok. No harm.. Ease myself. I am so regret that I didn't buy the bubble bath. Huhu.

It's D.O.M.E !! Located at Bangsar Shopping Centre.. It was my first time having meal here. I love the ambiance. It was cozy and the service was splendid.

Cheese marble cake.. or was it Marble cheese cake? I always have my dessert along with the main dish. Boleh selang-selang makan sebab takut kalau have it later trus kena tapau dessert itu. Wugi wugi.

Club sandwich. RM21.00 ..

"Pesto chicken, spinach leaves, a layer of crispy beef bacon, fresh tomato, mustard mayonnaise & tomato chutney between thick slices of toast. Served with chips.

I opted for a real meal since it was dinner time. Grilled Chicken in turmeric sauce. RM23.00. Quite pricey so you have to make sure you finish all of it. But then, I didn't eat the rice. Only managed to finish the chicken. Put the blame on cheese marble cake.

Never ever shop in a not so cool-unstable-undefined mood. Ever!! I did and I wrongly bought a stuff. I never had any experience of refunding items yet till yesterday. It was at Carrefour and back at home only I realized that it was wrong. Completely wrong stuff. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.... then I decided to try my luck and call the customer careline to ask about the refund thing because it is stated in the receipt you can refund within 8 days except stuffs like IT/camera/handphone etc. After it is confirm I can refund the stuff i went straight to Carrefour Midvalley (where I bought it) to have my cash back. I loikeeeeee!!!!

8. Tom Yam Goong : Spicy Tom Yam prawn. But we changed the prawn to chicken. You just have to request for it. It costs RM10.90. I'm not sure whether it is the same price with chicken (I lost the receipt).

38. Gai Yat Sai Gung : Stuffed omelette with minced prawn & chicken. Emm.. My predict.. Just so and so. But for RM 15 still nice to try.

Thai Iced Tea. Tawaq!! Baik untuk kesihatan.

33. Hormok Talay : Steamed seafood Otak-Otak. In the menu written RM16 (4pcs). We requested for 2 pcs only. (>.<) Overall.. The service was good.. I loikeee very much.. Bo lagi, waiter tue dtg tanya nak tambah nasi x.. Rasa macam duk kat kenduri lak org dtg suh tambah-tambah nasi.

p/s- This entry was my 1st time visiting Amarin. The service was undoubtedly superb but then it may be because of small number of customers. After my 2nd visit during dinner, I'll make sure that myself won't ever again step in into Amarin. Some of them can't even speak simple English, frankly speaking the price was not up to the level with the service. It may be cheap for most of you but to me, a cheapskate.. I would prefer to get a decent service compared to gerai tepi jalan, which sometimes could provide a better service.. But again, it may be not one of the nicest dinner I ever had. Perhaps, the angel of luck was not with me that night.

Well, whenever we feel like we would like to have some sort of oriental, Malaysian food, basically searching for rice and whenever we wanted to try other than food court's food, we'll pick Madam Kwan's. Why? Well, you should step inside 1st then you'll know. If you are not into Western you can pick their char koew teow but normally I won't order this one since it is RM13.90. Err.. I think I can find char koew teow outside cheaper.

p/s - But frankly, I don't really fancy Madam Kwan's since it is quite 'bising' inside with people. Yeah. They are always occupied with people and therefore they will really accommodate you the sits according to your numbers. *Well sometimes maybe. The service is wonderful as always..

We had this Manhattan Fish Market at Alamanda, Putrajaya. Quite a comfy place to enjoy your meal.

Studying the menu. Pardon me. 1st timer here.

The one above, emm.. I really forgot.. Was it fried mushroom?

Strictly for sharing.. That's what the menu says. Manhattan Seafood Platter for Two .. Deep fried fish fillet, calamari, oysters & flaming prawns served with chips and garlic rice. RM46.90 .. Very filling!! Sangat kenyang.. Sharing for 3 or 4 if you don't eat much.

Udang tue nnt dia bakar time dia serve. Takder la yg bakar bagai.. Just like a bit flaming. I'm not sure whether it is for the show or what. Nampak cheese yang ala-ala terbakar tue. Yang tue lah. Sgt jakun. Bukan kamu. Saya.

Overall, the food was nice and the service was great.. Entry agak tidak bersemangat sebab I'm not a huge fan of seafood-western-style.. Lainlah kalau sotong masak sambal.. Yang tue harus layan dengan bersungguh-sungguh.

Anyone out there fanatic about Subway? Me? Nope.. I'm not a fan. Just once in a while I would grab a bite of Subway. It's fast and convenience when you are extremely hungry. No need to wait for the waiter to take your order or the cook to prepare your food. Just straight away to the counter then walllahhh... Siap roti subway untuk dimakan. *Kalau org x ramai lah yer. Kalau x, masih kena beratur.

Normally I would pick Chicken Teriyaki. I always stick to certain orders. Not an adventurous person especially when my stomach was growling hard. Not going to try something that I had never tried before.

Best part is you get to choose the vegetable that you like and dislike. Letak yg suka ja.. Tak suka yang masam2 ke, x yah letak. Less complain. Right? Tak suka bawang pun boleh x letak siap-siap. Nanti nak kena asing-asing lak. Dah lambat nak makan. Pehtue letak la sos aper yg nak. BBq ke mustard ke (nie masam sket.. kan?.. So, kalau x suka.. xyah letak. warna kuning yer.. *kalau salah sila betulkan).. Owh. Bukan kita yg letak. Org tue yg letakkan. Kalau nak banyak, ckp la.. Dik.. letak banyak sket yer sos *** .. It's raining here at the moment. It was like this in KL for a while.. Sekejap hujan sekejap panas. My friend is coming over tonight for MotoGP tomorrow, so, let's hope it is not going to rain for the weekend. Otherwise it's going to spoil the mood. Err.. A bit? Perhaps. Owh.. Nope. Not me.. I am not going over.

It's Friday and approaching merely an hour to 5.30pm. When the clock ticks 5.30 pm it's time for me to clock out and looking forward to a lovely weekend. If it is not a lovely weekend, it is still time for me to get some rest (konon-konon kerja bertungkus lumus for the whole 5 days). 5.30 pm on every Friday signifies the working days for the week is over. Well, at least for me, a common servant. Why all the sudden with the work and weekend things? I came across this topic at Perempuan Jomblo's blog. I bet most of you (*bloggers) would know her.

Another entry for foodies!!! I have no idea since when I became quite a fan of Indonesian food. But only to certain range of food like pecel lele and ayam penyet. I think it was after I tried pecel lele when I was studying in Bangi. Always try to look for a cheaper version instead of Bali Feel or Wong Solo or Warung Penyet but to avail or perhaps not enough effort I didn't get to find a good one yet except the one at Hentian Kajang. So, when Ayam Penyet was opened at The Gardens' Food Court I thought of giving it a try. There are quite variety of food selection at The Gardens' Food Court. Normally I would only pick House of Bento (something like that). This entry was a long long time ago (masa dia baru mula-mula bukak).. I only tried the ayam penyet though.

Italy part was still tolerable with all the foods. How I wish the India part was never made into the movie. Countless yawn ~~~ . I was kinda thinking of walking out in the middle of the movie though. Then, she went to Bali to look for love. She found one. But hesitate. Then, ok. Happy ending.

This movie is for those who are sort of afraid of moving on or having commitment issues in real life. Well, at least that's what I thought. You can't simply walk out from the trouble/unhappiness by not solving it first right? And then when you find one, you back out. Huh? How selfish does that sound? But for some people, who wanted to pursue for happiness ~~kononnya x pernah nak bahagia~~, I presume you are going to fall for this.

p/s - If you insist on watching, try to watch it on Wednesday.. At least x nyesal sgt. Or better.. just download.

Here is another food entry on Westernish.

This was quite a while back way before puasa. We wanted to try something new so we head off to Italiannies. It's not a really new thing, just happened to be I watched it from upstairs then thinkin I need to try !! Obviously, I was not in a shopping mode but in dinner mode. It was quite a while back then, now only manage to put it up here. Have anyone of you had been to Italiannies before? Do share ya. Enjoy the photos..

Warning : the food looks nice and it tastes much much much nicer..

Frankly, the service was not so friendly at 1st. Then, this Indian guy approach us then only it became 'friendly'. Macam confuse. Takder org ke nak approach aper ke since there were no customer at all when we arrived. Nevermind.

You can purchase your food which as shown above. Jangan tamak tau. Kitorg tamak.. end up we took 2 main course despite we were told that their food was in a large portion. Trust me. Unless you are a glutton, just take my advice take this " 2 course meal for RM27.90 ". But do ask the waiter if you are 1st timer.

Our appetizer

Italian clams soup
A hearty soup with fresh clams and diced tomatoes.

Toasted Bruschetta
Homemade Tuscan bread topped with marinated tomatoes, pasto sauce and parmesan cheese.

As for the main courses, we chose

Roasted chicken with balsamic glaze.
Oven-baked herb roasted chicken glazed with Balsamic. Served with fried rosemary wedges and garlic butter broccoli.

I'm perfectly happy when my handphone could capture nice photo under good light condition. We took the seats next to the window so we can still get the remaining sunlight since it was approaching dawn.

Strawberry Colada. Smoothies.. RM8.90. Nice!!

See.. A happy face. Told ya.. The food was nice.

Oh wait.. the 2nd main course.

Last but not least,

Sausage carbonara
Chicken sausage meatball tossed with Alfredo sauce over linguine pasta.

I 'tapau' back the leftover of sausage carbonara which were quite a lot (-.-).
