He can walk.. A bit unstable but certainly can walk all the way without scratching his knees.
Has 8 teeth.
He can say mama.. but sometimes it goes mamamamama.. So I am not sure whether he knows what mama means yet.
He is not scared of cats. Some of my mum's cats would run away from him.
Loves to eat cod liver oil.. Oh my.. That tastes T_______T .. But then, good boy!
Looking at this picture made me realize how big he is now. Some of his shirts can't fit him nicely anymore. Time for mummy to shop then.
This one lawak.. I sent this to my mum.. This pic was taken at Tesco's Jitra food court.
My mum made a caption "Bila makanan nak sampai. Nak balik SP".
*Sg.Petani is where my parents live.
Another thing which I never fail to remind myself is to keep a saving for my little boy. When he was in my tummy, I took the Prudential insurance, to protect both of us. I just couldn't bare if he comes out with any sickness and it would be a nightmare if I can't afford to pay the bills.
You get what I mean? Or did I think too much? That's what mother does best right?
I never knew being a mother is really a tough work. *roll sleeves..
I even had an Excel worksheet to put all my expenses, budget, his saving etc. Change to a new car is definitely not an option at all. I wonder during his time, will PTPTN still exists and will the cost of tertiary education increase by the time. Oh my.. I really need to slow down.
I had opened a Tabung Haji account for him just right after I finished my confinement. Yes.. I was that super excited, couldn't wait for any delay. All angpaos will definitely go into that account. I read that you are suppose to spread your money (not that I have too much), so last week, I opened an ASB account for him. Just like mummy. Now we have both account. Baru geng.
It was such an experiment searching for food that your baby would like or prefer. He might just throw it out, which could mean he hates it or it could be just because it tastes new to him.
My little boy food regime is simple. We make porridge/pasta for him with chicken/meat/fish and vegetables for his main meal. He has 8 teeth (up until today) but we still need to blend his porridge, otherwise he would choke and worst case so far, he would just threw it out. So don't you dare come to me and ask to feed my baby with rice and soup.
We do give him biscuits for breakfast and during our meal time (lunch/dinner) since he would be sitting with us at the dining table. One of his favourites is Graduates Puff.
I find it is quite hard to purchase Graduates Puffs at Cold Storage since they are always out of stock. So, I had to googled and found that few baby shops and online shops sell Graduates Puffs. FYI, I purchased them from Applecrumby & Fish. Service was good. I ordered on Tuesday evening and received them today (Thursday) via Nationwide. I did once buy them from Babyland at SS2. Both of their prices are the same.
Each bottle costs me RM21.. You better eat them.
Btw, today is my little boy 2nd day at Taska. I picked him up at 3pm. So, that means 3/4 day for him today. Overall it was good. He didn't cry. Played well. Hopefully, he stays good in upcoming days.
Lama tinggal blog .. Ever since I do not have a lappy-internet-connection at home my internet saviour was only my phone.
So, today.. 04.02.2015, Wednesday, is my lil boy 1st day at Taska..
He didn't cry when my mum and I dropped him at Taska, but he looked puzzled. I didn't get to 'bye-bye' him since I made my way out so quick because tears were coming down....
Hisshh.. so drama. Mum and I were both with tears and the lil boy was not. I do hope he is ok.
What did I tell my boy? Do not hit anyone ok my dear.. Be nice.. Behave nicely.
What did I tell the teacher? If you lost your patience, just give me a call..
But that's ok. I am going to pick him up at 2pm today.. Bahaha.. Slowly transition from half day to full day. InsyaAllah..
After a year of fully breastfeeding my baby only I started feeding him with formula milk. *No judgement please.. I am just glad that my mum was staying with us, so that I can go back home whenever I like. I tried Anmum Infacare and thank goodness so far so good. Nothing bad *touchwood* happened yet. But the thing is, Anmum Infacare is quite pricey, well at least to me. I know there are lots of other brand which are cheaper, but I would love to try my best to give whatever the best I think for my lil boy.
*waving bye-bye to new shoes and handbags
From Mr. Google & one aunty at Tesco, I found that, Anmum is sold cheaper at 99 Speedmart and Kedai Ubat Cina.. Please take note, I only survey for Anmum, so I have no idea about other brands. So, I went to Seksyen 14, Petaling Jaya, where both of the shops mentioned are located. I always compare prices, but then Infacare was not available at the moment at Speedmart so I bought at Pusat Ubat-Ubatan dan Kedai Serbaneka (pic). It is RM51.80 for 650g. If I am not mistaken, Tesco sells at RM59 and I never see them on sale. Okla.. Murah few RM and it is near to my place.
The shop. Located nearby Maybank, Digital Mall.. opposite of Wah Chan.
